The Freight Calculator (FC) is a module used to calculate freight prices.
By retrieving lane-specific information from the Rate Management module, it calculates prices for a specific request.
Under Freight Calculation Search, you will find all Modes of Transport (MoTs) for which a specific Freight Calculator has been created.
The number shown after the denotation indicates the number of profiles per MoT available in the database.

The search mask below shows the criteria for the AIR profile.
For this MoT, airports at both origin and destination are required in order to display the correct results.
Depending on the mode of transport, the search mask may have different layouts and input fields. These fields are defined according to what is needed to identify the relevant data and calculate the rate accordingly.
Each MoT has a different CFC layout due to specific requirements. The design, including all columns displayed in the result view, can be configured individually.
In addition, it is possible to define which information is displayed in the header after the search has been started.
