Key Events are updated almost in real time, and no later than about a day. We surface route-level alerts on disruptions and structural shifts that can affect shipments, including:

  • Port shutdowns

  • Strikes and labor actions

  • Severe weather

  • Capacity changes

  • Other operational disruptions


Where does Key Events data come from?

Key Events combines multiple sources so users can get timely, practical updates in one place.


Sources include:

  • Freightos internal data

  • Third-party APIs

  • Carrier websites and advisories

  • Industry publications

  • User-submitted reports


This mix helps us surface relevant updates quickly while keeping the feed useful and operationally focused.
