International Wire Restrictions

Due to restrictions with our banking partner, Currency Cloud Limited, we are unable to receive SWIFT wire payments from senders in certain countries and regions. If you are in one of the locations below, please pay by credit card or PayPal. If you have additional payment needs, email success@freightos.com and we’ll review your options.

Countries and Regions Restricted from Wire Transfers

Our banking partner cannot receive wire transfers from bank accounts based in the following countries or regions:

  • Afghanistan

  • Bahamas

  • Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia)

  • Barbados

  • Belarus

  • Botswana

  • Burundi

  • Cambodia

  • Central African Republic

  • Crimea

  • Cuba

  • Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)

  • Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

  • Ghana

  • Iran

  • Iraq

  • Jamaica

  • Jordan

  • Lebanon

  • Libya

  • Mali

  • Mexico

  • Morocco

  • Mozambique

  • Myanmar (including for payouts)

  • Panama

  • Peru

  • Russia

  • Samoa

  • Somalia

  • South Sudan

  • Sudan and Darfur

  • Syria

  • Tajikistan

  • Tanzania

  • Trinidad and Tobago

  • Uganda

  • Ukraine (Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia regions)
