Guaranteed Capacity is a service that ensures your cargo will sail on a specific vessel.
When you choose this option, it's important to know:
* You (or your supplier) must be able to meet the gate-in date requirements.
* Once booked, the space is guaranteed and your shipment must be on board. If you cancel the shipment, a cancellation fee will apply.
* If the container is delivered to the container yard after the requested gate-in date, a cancellation fee will apply.
* The transit time of the vessel is not guaranteed and is not part of the service.
* The estimated time of departure (ETD) of the vessel is also not guaranteed.
* If the container can’t be onboarded within 7 days of the booking, you are entitled to compensation (exceptions apply, see quote remarks).
Check the remarks in your quote to see exactly what’s included in the Guaranteed Capacity service.
Guaranteed Capacity is only available on select routes and availability can change.
