When is the best time to book a shipment?
The Quotes given on Freightos.com are valid for a certain period. Depending on how and what you’re booking, the validity can be days, weeks, or months from when you search.
You can see the expiry date listed on the Quote result.
If your shipment is ready, but you don’t plan on shipping until after any of the expiry dates of the Quotes you receive, please contact your forwarder directly.
If you book a Quote before knowing your goods ready date and your cargo is picked up after the expiration date, your forwarder may need to re-quote at current rates and you could end up having to pay a higher price.
