When searching for a quote on Freightos you might be directed to submit a Custom Quote form. This usually indicates that there is currently no instant quote option for your specific shipment requirements. However, we still might be able to fulfill your request! Simply submit the custom quote request, which will be sent to all relevant forwarders to review, and provide a customized quote for your needs.
If your shipment requires multiple origins or destinations, or if your shipment is on the list of items we don't generally support via our instant quote feature, we recommend submitting a Custom Quote request. Please reach out to our Customer Success team to help you submit this, either by live chat in our platform, or via email: success@freightos.com.
Here are the steps to submit a Custom Quote Request:
First things first, please run a search using your shipment details. Then send the Customer Success team the URL (website address link) of the results page where you see the quotes listed.
We also need the following details:
- Origin(s)/destination(s) addresses (zip codes) and the cargo load for each address
- Commodity name/description
- Preferred shipping mode
- Cargo value
- Price to beat (if known)
- Your full name
- Any additional comments
If you don't get a response to the quote request within a week, it means there are no Custom Quotes available, and your request has been closed.
