How do I enable eBookings

How do I enable eBookings

One of the newest and best features currently offered by WebCargo on all accounts is the opportunity to make eBookings.

eBookings allows you to make a booking for your shipment instantly, without fluctuations in price, and guarantees you a space on the vessel you choose. One of our customers recently made a booking just 180 seconds after logging in!

This simplified way of making a booking is making the industry more efficient, faster and bringing it into the 21st century. This means a smoother experience for you and everybody else making a shipment. If you haven’t got eBookings enabled yet, read below to find out how to enable it.

First of all, it’s important that you know what permissions, or user type, you have on your profile. When your account was set up, you will have either been given one of the following account types:

1. Normal
2. Admin
3. Super Admin

If you’re not sure what permissions you have, please get into contact with us through the chat feature on our site, located at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

What do the different permissions mean?

1. Normal

If you have normal permissions and do not have eBookings set up, request activation by clicking on the New eBooking tab and following the on screen instructions.

However, please bear in mind that you will receive an email back from us asking you to contact your local manager in order to enable this.

To save time, you should go directly to your manager and ask them to enable eBookings by clicking the button under their account. A message will be sent to our support team via email eBookings enabled within 24 hours.

2. Admin or Super Admin

If you have Admin or Super Admin access, you just need to go to the ‘eBookings’ tab under your Rate & Quote Air account. Once you are here you’ll be prompted with the below message:

If you see this, just click on the ‘send a message’ link and an automatic email will be sent to our eBookings team. We will then process your request and enable eBookings. You should receive a response with us within 24 hours confirming your account has been set up.

If you have any questions about eBookings, you can start a chat with our team by clicking on the green speech bubble located at the bottom right-hand side of our website.
