How to set notifications for your eBookings

How to set notifications for your eBookings

With WebCargo’s eBooking notification tool, you can choose when to be notified about your eBookings via email and who receives these notifications.

There are several places where you can activate or deactivate notifications. The first is when you are making an eBooking on the review and book page.

Towards the bottom of the page, you’ll see an option to Set notifications for this booking. Click to activate a pop-up to set up how you’d like to be notified and also what you’d like to be notified about.

Select the box Send notification to another email if you would like someone else from your team to be notified. Enter their email address and click Save. You can add multiple emails by clicking the Add another email. This will add another box to enter an email address.

How to set notifications for existing eBookings

You can also set notifications for eBookings by clicking on the My eBookings tab and finding an active eBooking. Click on the three horizontal dots on the right-hand side of the eBooking, then click on Notifications.

Important: any notifications you enable will be for the individual eBooking and will not affect other existing eBookings. If you want to set notifications for other eBookings, you’ll need to do this individually.

Setting your notification preferences

Opt-in to receive notifications via email about your eBooking. You can choose to receive emails at the address associated with the logged-in user’s account and add other parties to receive emails whenever there is an update with the eBooking.

Specify the other email address you want to send updates to, and also add more email addresses by clicking on Add another email.

Important: All notifications are sent by email. If you turn email notifications off, all boxes will subsequently grey out, and you won’t receive any updates about your eBooking.

Select to get notified about eBooking statusLoad information and Rates. Once you’ve made any changes, click Save. You’ll receive an on-screen notification stating that your preferences have been saved.

If later you decide to turn off notifications, the GSA and IATA owner will still be notified.
