How do I push marketplace booking data into my TMS?

When you book a new shipment on Freightos.com, your forwarder receives an email notification. You’ll also receive a copy of the email and you can use it to push the booking data into your TMS.

This HTML email includes:

  • A direct link to the Shipment page on Freightos.com

  • All documents provided by the Buyer as attachments (eg, commercial invoices, labels, etc.)

  • A CSV file attachment that includes all the information required to handle the shipment

Below is a sample email notification sent immediately after a new shipment is booked on Freightos.com.

Only one email is sent per shipment The email subject is always: "New {Mode} Shipment #SXXXXXXXXXXXX". Each email includes one CSV file in addition to all documents provided by the Buyer. The CSV file name will always be #SXXXXXXXXXXXX.csv (similar to the value in the email subject)

The CSV File Structure

The CSV file holds the entire shipment data organized in the following structure:

Goods_Ready_Date

The goods ready pickup date, provided by the Buyer.

Origin

The full address of the pickup location (when port, the port code and name).

Est_Port_To_Port_TT

The estimated port-to-port transit time (provided by the Seller in the Quote).

The destination's full address (or port code and name).

The number, size, and weight of boxes/pallets /containers in a shipment (provided by the Buyer in imperial or metric system).

Total_Weight

The total weight of a shipment (provided by the Buyer in imperial or metric system).
