If you have a paid Freightos Rate & Quote account, you’ll also have access to the downloads tool. This will allow you to extract rates and data for any airlines or GSAs you have available for static rate quoting on your account. Find out in this article how to do this.
Firstly, head to the Rate management section, then click on Mainleg and select Downloads from the list of options.
Once the page has loaded, you’ll see a list of all the downloadable rates available in your system.
These downloadable rates are organised by the latest to have been uploaded to the system and are colour-coded depending on the type of rate.
What does each colour mean?
White rates represent market rates
Pink rates are promo rates
Dark red rates are last minute promos or those that are only valid for one flight
Green rates are contracted rates
You can filter your results by selecting a GSA from the dropdown, the type of promo you want to see (General, Promo or Contract), or by airline by entering the prefix or the name of the carrier, then clicking Search.
When your results have loaded, you're ready to start downloading. Click on the three dots to the right-hand side of each result. You can choose the different formats to download these in.
These can vary from the standard format we use at Freightos, or in other data formats that may be needed for other TMS systems.
Please let us know if you use a specific format for your data entry. We have many established TMS systems to help you best manage the upload and download of data for your systems. When your download has finished, click on the file within your browser to open it. Once clicked, the file will open in Excel format, where you can view all the different rates at any time.
If you have more questions about any of the features on Freightos Rate & Quote, please reach out to us by clicking on the blue speech bubble at the bottom right-hand side of your Freightos page.
