How to upload multiple clients using an excel file

You can upload multiple clients with conditions at one time by using the Excel file upload feature on your WebCargo account.

Important: this feature is only available for Professional, and Enterprise account holders.

You can watch the following video or continue reading this article to find out how to import clients.

Firstly, head to the Tools tab, then the Templates sub-tab. You’ll find an Excel format file called Clients with which you can import multiple clients at the same time. Click on the Excel icon on the same row as the template. This will then trigger an automatic download.

Once your file has downloaded and you have opened it, you will be presented with many different columns. Fill in the information as per the indications you will see within the file

Once you have correctly entered the information in the below corresponding columns, you’ll need to remove lines 1 to 21 which show the instructions. Make sure to leave the headers as the first line without amending their name. Then save your file.

Go back to your WebCargo account and head to the Settings tab, then the Clients sub-tab and select Clients from the dropdownClick on the file and instead of clicking on the plus button, select the import icon.

You’ll be presented with a box to find the file. Once found, select and then click Import.

Your clients should now be visible on the list of clients. If any errors have occurred during upload, you will be notified through the pop-up.

You can now define profits as explained for the + button option for adding individual clients.
