This tool is designed for freight forwarders, sales teams, pricing analysts, and management, offering structured, filter-driven KPIs to monitor activities effectively.
While all freight forwarders can use the dashboard, access isn’t automatically enabled for all users. For multinational accounts, access is managed via the Roles & Permissions page. Administrators can enable access by configuring roles to suit your organization’s needs.
This article will walk you through accessing and leveraging this valuable resource. Continue reading for an in-depth look.
First, expand the side menu and scroll down to the Business Intelligence section.
Then expand the Quoting statistics dropdown and select Dashboard.
This will bring you to the dashboard, which will show you all the information for the current year by default.
Customize your view to enable detailed drill-down analysis, tailoring insights to your specific needs.
Start by selecting the date range for which you want to see analytics. First, pick a Range type from the dropdown, such as Current, Last, Previous, etc.
Then, pick an option (day, week, month, quarter or year) and click Apply.
If you are looking for specific dates to filter by, select the Custom option under the Range type dropdown. Enter your specific dates and click Apply.
Next, choose whether you want information only for Air quotes, Ocean quotes or both. If you only have access to one or the other, you will see only data for the one you use.
On the header, you’ll also find the option to filter by Customer, Origin or Origin Country. Simply choose your options from the dropdown menus.
Additionally, you can select even more specific filters by expanding the More filters dropdown. Here you’ll find other filter options such as Destination, Airline, Ocean Carrier, Incoterm and more.
Once you’ve selected all your filters, click Apply.
Below the filters header, you’ll find four tabs which divide the dashboard into different sections.
The first tab, Summary, offers a high-level overview of quotation performance, helping you evaluate overall pipeline health and track performance trends weekly.
Regardless of the tab you’re on, you can hover your mouse over each individual chart to see more detailed information about the statistics shown.
In addition to seeing more detailed information by moving your mouse over the chart, clicking on it will apply it as a filter. For example, when hovering over the Won section of this chart, clicking on it will apply the filter Status: Won to the rest of the dashboard.
You will see the filter applied to all charts in the dashboard.
The data shown is updated daily. Additionally, you can click on the three dots on the top right corner of each chart to see when the data was last updated or click Force refresh to show the most recent information.
You can also select the Enter fullscreen option to enlarge the chart and view it in more detail.
This will expand the chart. This fullscreen view also allows you to hover your mouse anywhere over the chart to see more information.
To return to the previous dashboard view, simply click on the three dots on the top right corner of the chart and select Exit fullscreen or click on the four arrows icon.
The second tab, Trade Lane Metrics, provides insights into commercial and routing trends, such as the most requested origin-destination countries and ports, most requested trade lanes and quotes by direction and rate type, assisting in identifying key markets and rate behaviors.
As previously mentioned, moving your mouse over the data will show more detailed information, on any of the tabs.
By moving your mouse over the filter icon, you can review which filters are currently applied for each of the charts.
On the Acceptance Trends tab, you can Compare current and previous month performances in terms of won and lost quotes, enabling tracking of month-over-month performance.
Finally, the Activity Metrics tab offers visibility into internal activity and customer engagement, supporting workload distribution analysis and monitoring customer performance. The data shown here includes quotes per sales person, per customer and top quoting customers.
By taking full advantage of the Multimodal Quote Dashboard, you’re equipped to drive efficiency and make informed decisions that align with your company’s objectives.
