What is an EORI number?

An EORI or Economic Operator Registration and Identification number is used in the EU and UK to provide statistical and security information to customs authorities and is the equivalent of the EIN in the US.

This number is required for all goods imported or exported outside of the EU and your forwarder will ask you for it when it's required.
