Why was my account restricted by OFAC?

Why was my account restricted by OFAC?

If you’ve received a notification from OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) regarding a restriction on your account, it may be due to a match with someone on the OFAC list, which is preventing the automatic approval of your shipment.

If your account name matches an entry on the OFAC list:
Please provide a copy of your ID so we can verify and release the hold.

If the business name matches an entry on the OFAC list:
You will need to provide the following documents to help us check and clear the hold:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation of the company.

  2. ID copy of the owner.

Please send the required documents to our Customer Support team via email at success@freightos.com or through live chat.

For further clarification or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Support team.
