How to grant users access to all branches

Within the capabilities of the WebCargo branches tool, access can be granted to users for visibility of all quotes created within the quote library, along with the additional assignment of an individual quote to a specific branch. In case a user needs visibility of ALL quotes within their database, regardless of their own respective branch affiliation, follow steps below to find out how to grant this:

Open the side menu, then scroll down to User management, then under the subsection Local users, and click on Local users. 

Find the contact you would like to give permissions to. Click on the pen symbol to Edit User.

Once you are redirected to the page where you can edit user data, make sure the tab General Information is selected. 

Then, from the section named ‘Branch’ select ‘All’ at the top of the dropdown. Once selected, click Save.

You’re able to select a default branch for any user to show which one is used most often when they are searching or making a quote. From the list of tabs, which include General Information, Privileges, Settings & Default Values, head to Default Values. Then, click on the section called ‘Branch’ and select the branch you’d like to be the default option. Click Save to save your default branch options.

This means any user with this configured can now indicate the branch they want to choose for their quote or search. To see how to select the branch when making a quote click here.
