Icon explanation managing your chosen static rates

Once you’ve selected your rates from a static rate search, there are a number of things you can do to manage them. These can be downloading an Excel file, a PDF file, saving on the WebCargo platform, and more depending on what actions you want to take.

You can find a key of icons at the top of the rate search which will help you manage these rates.

Let’s have a look at what the different icons mean when doing this.

Add spot rate

The first symbol you’ll find is the add spot rate feature which should be used when you’ve received an improved rate to the one showing in the search results.

Clicking on this will bring up a pop-up where you can choose the airline and GSA the spot rate should apply to, as well as adding weight breaks, conditions and more. Click here to read more about adding spot rates.

Send quotation to my email address

Clicking on the envelope icon will allow you to send the quotation to your own email address. After clicking you’ll be taken to the quote creation page where you can enter all of the customer details, select PDF conditions and more.

Once entered, you can then click the Send to me button.

Download excel of quotation

You can select to download the selected rates in an Excel file to your computer. Clicking this button will take you to the quotation creation page. You’ll notice that you won’t have the PDF settings available on the page as you will only be downloading the Excel file.

Download PDF quotation

You can choose to download the rates in a PDF file by clicking on this icon. Clicking this button will take you to the quotation creation page. You’ll notice that you won’t have the Excel settings available on the page as you will only be downloading the PDF file.

Request Ad Hoc rates

If you want to request an improved rate from the airlines for the rates selected, you can use the Request AdHoc rates feature. This will allow you to add your desired rate and send communication directly from your account. You can read more about requesting an AdHoc rate here.

Save quotation

Clicking on the floppy disk icon will allow you to save your quotation if you wish to come back to the rates later. You can enter all of the customer information as well as select PDF and Excel settings and then click the Save button.

Once you’ve saved your quotations, you can track their progress and manage them through the Air tab, and then selecting the Quotations sub tab.

Remove filters from current search

If you wish to start the rate search process, you can remove all previously added filters by clicking on the symbol with two arrows. This will remove all conditions that had previously been applied, including origin, destination, weight breaks, weights and dimensions.
