In the Messaging module, you can communicate with both your suppliers and internal users.
Please note that the messaging functionality is not activated by default. To enable it, contact your FREIGHTOS PROCURE operational contact before launching any RfQ.
The Messaging module includes the following areas:
By clicking the pencil icon, you can create a chat group.
These groups can be used for internal communication as well as for communication with suppliers.
Enter a group name and select the contacts from your contact list by ticking the box next to each name. You can also search for contacts using the search bar.
Once all users have been selected, click Create to create the group chat.
In the Requests tab, you will find all groups related to your launched RfQs or Spots. These groups will always have the same name as the corresponding RfQ or Spot.
Once the invited suppliers access the RfQ, they will be added to the group chat and will also be able to see the chat history.
RfQ groups can be used for bulk communication with suppliers, for example when new information needs to be shared about an ongoing RfQ.
Suppliers can only reply to you in a one-to-one conversation, so they will not be able to reply in an RfQ group. They are also not able to see which other suppliers are part of the RfQ group.
