Spot V2: Bid Analysis & Awarding

Learn how to review received quotes, manage your request, and award contracts within Spot V2.


Accessing & Managing Your Spot Request

Navigate to eProcurement RfX Request in the main menu, search for your request by name, and double-click it to open the details view.

Once inside your Spot Request, you can perform the following actions:

  • Track Supplier Status: Review the overview panel to see the total number of invited suppliers and check who has submitted a response.
  • Rename & Organize: Update the request title directly at the top of the window.
  • đź’ˇ Tip: Include a forward slash (/) in the title to automatically organize requests into folders (e.g., 2026/Logistics/Spot1).
  • Analyze Bids: Select the Analysis tab to view, filter, and compare detailed quote breakdowns.
  • Close Request: Click Close if you decide not to award the bid. The system will automatically send an email notifying all invited suppliers that the request has been closed.



Using the Analysis Tab

The Analysis tab combines quoted prices, lead times, and lane information into a single comprehensive view.

  • Pivot Mode & Column Filtering: Customize your table layout by enabling or disabling specific columns.
  • Save Layout Templates: Once you are satisfied with your custom view, click Save As to reuse this layout for future spot requests.
  • Export Options: Click Export to Excel at any time to download the full bid data.



Awarding the Supplier

  1. Review the bids in the Analysis tab and select your winning supplier.
  2. Click Award.


What happens next?

  • The winning supplier receives an automated award notification via email.
  • Unsuccessful suppliers automatically receive an email informing them that the bid has been closed.
