Target Price for Spot Requests

Target Price for Spot Requests

For FCL (P2P only) Spot Requests, you can define a Target Price. This helps you set clear expectations with Suppliers (LSPs) and quickly analyze incoming quotes.

Note: System configurations may vary. If any features described below are not visible in your profile, please contact your Procure Onboarding or Account Manager.

How it Works

The Target Price section is located in the LSP Selection step of the Spot creation process.

  • LSP Visibility: Setting a target price shares your price expectation with all invited LSPs. To streamline their quoting process, this target price is automatically pre-filled in the main freight offer, but can be manually adjust it if needed.

  • Automated Benchmark Rates: If benchmark rate data is available for your lane, it will be pre-populated as the target price (you can edit or remove it at any time).

  • Multiple Container Types: If your request includes multiple equipment types, an individual target price field will appear for each container type. The total estimated sum will be calculated automatically.

  • In-depth Insights: Compare incoming bids against your target price in the Quote Inbox and Extended Analysis.
