Access real-time market rates directly within your spot request workflow.

For FCL and AIR port-to-port routes, live market rates are integrated into your spot request process. Once you enter your lane and cargo information, the system automatically fetches the current average market price from the Freightos Terminal database.


Key Features

  • Criteria Used: The benchmark rate is an all-in price based on your specific lane (origin/destination port or airport) and equipment type (for FCL).


  • Target Price Automation: You can use the benchmark price to set your target price (it can be automatically adopted as your target rate).


  • Live Data: Every time you open or refresh the Spot Request, the system fetches the latest market data to ensure you always see up-to-date insights.


  • Quote Analysis: Use the benchmark as a baseline to easily evaluate incoming LSP quotes.


Important Notes & Limitations:

  • Terminal Handling Charges (THC): Freightos Terminal benchmark rates do not include THC for FCL rates, except for US-bound routes where Origin THC (OTHC) is included in the main container fee.


  • Data Availability: If no benchmark data is available for your selected port pair or equipment type, the benchmark section will not appear and the target price field will remain empty.
