Freightos.com's providers can handle almost any commercial shipment. Our Instant Quoting feature is designed to apply to general goods and single destinations. However, if your commodity is included in the list of excluded commodities below, and you book an Instant Quote, your Shipment may be cancelled by your Seller and/or additional charges will be incurred. Additionally, insurance and customs brokerage services booked as part of the Shipment will not be valid, and you may not receive notification regarding these services.

However, we are always here to help! If your shipment is for commercial purposes, you can also request and book a Custom Quote for your shipment. Please note, personal shipments can not be booked with Freightos. Further details are in our SOP.

The commodities excluded from Instant Quoting include:

• Hazardous materials (HAZMAT)

• Goods in bulk vessels

• Fragile cargo including: musical instruments, marble plates/slabs, windows, plate/flat glass, neon items, grandfather/grandmother clocks, models (such as ships, cars, airplanes, and architectural).

• Jewelry, precious stones, precious metals and monetary instruments (including documents, stamps, money, banknotes, bonds, securities, checks, accounts, bills, evidence of debt, money orders, COD payments, tickets, deeds, treasury notes, gift cards, or any cash equivalents)

• Antiques/artwork/collectibles including: fine art, original works, memorabilia, manuscripts, antiquities, stamps, trading cards, etc.

• Temperature controlled goods including refrigerated, chilled, frozen, and dry ice goods

• Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, etc.), seeds, plants, pure bamboo, and perishable goods.

• Semi perishable goods such as dry beans and cooking oil, which are not prepackaged for the consumer but are in loose sacks/bags/drums.

• Coffee

• Imported goods that do not have the proper documentation to clear customs

• Live animals (including livestock, pets, etc.)

• Unprocessed cotton, cement, animal hides, and unprocessed leather

• Drugs/alcohol/tobacco products

• Used furniture and clothing

• Scrap materials

• Cargo that cannot to be shipped in standard shipping containers (20', 40', 45', and 45 HC)

• Motorized vehicles including, cars, boats, motorcycles, etc.

• Computer chips and memory devices

• Consumer electronics (cellphones, tablets, televisions, etc.)

• Explosive cargoes (including, charcoal and crude oil)

• Firearms and ammunition

• Unprotected goods, including items that are not packed properly
