What happens when the logistics provider gets my order?

Once we pass your order on to the logistics provider, they will verify all details about the shipment and take three actions:

  • Reach out to you if any details are missing.

  • Call the factory to verify when the goods will be ready for pick up/hand-off.

  • Secure space for your goods with the carrier.

Once the forwarder creates a carrier booking, they will upload the following information to Freightos.com:

  • Planned pickup date (which can be the pickup from the factory or the date coordinated with the consignor to bring the goods to port).

  • Estimated time of departure from port (for air and ocean shipments).

  • Estimated time of arrival to port (for air and ocean shipments).
