What happens after I pay and place an order?
After you place an order and make a payment on Freightos.com, the next step is to provide detailed pickup and delivery information, as well as information about the consignor, consignee, and the commodity being shipped.
This includes uploading any necessary documents, such as the commercial invoice, packing list, and power of attorney, if applicable.
With this information, we'll send your shipment details to your chosen freight forwarder. They will then contact your supplier or the origin location to confirm the booking and arrange for pickup or drop-off of your shipment.
Your freight forwarder and supplier will handle all logistics and keep you updated every step of the way.
You can stay informed and communicate with your forwarder using the messenger tool on the Shipment page on our website. This will allow you to ask any questions or provide any additional information required to ensure a smooth shipment process.
