What is My Routes?

What is My Routes?

My Routes is a daily, route‑level price benchmarking feature that lets you track the exact port‑pairs and airport‑pairs you care about. You’ll see granular prices and operational signals so you can compare vendors, plan budgets, and spot trends faster.

Access:

From the main Terminal dashboard, choose My Routes in the left sidebar. If you’re on the free plan, you’ll see one sample lane in the My Routes tab (your 2 FBX + 2 FAX lanes appear on the main dashboard). To track your own port pairs, you’ll need to upgrade your account. Individual Starter and Enterprise plans include full My Routes access; lane limits and historical depth vary by plan.

What you can do in My Routes:

Create custom trade lanes by origin–destination and service definition, then toggle between Spot and Contract rates to analyze each separately. For air, filter by Standard or Express. You’ll see daily updates with min/avg/max pricing and, where available, operational context like announced vs. actual transit times and port performance (anchor time, berthing time, congestion level).

Where the data comes from:

Terminal aggregates anonymized, normalized transactional data from Freightos applications, plus carrier APIs and forwarder rate files. It’s updated daily and represents over $50B in annual freight spend.

How to add routes (paid plans):

- Import a spreadsheet: Click Import, download the sample template, fill in ports/airports, weight breaks, and lanes, then upload to add in bulk.

- Add manually: Click the folder icon (bottom left) to create a section, name it, and save. Open the section, select Add New Trade Lane, enter the details, and save.

Use cases:

Benchmark vendor prices, set RFP targets, review corridors, plan budgets and procurement guardrails, support sales enablement, and run custom analytics.
