Will my quote change during shipping?
The logistics providers on Freightos.com must stand by their quotes throughout the validity period.
The quote is based on the input you provide when searching. Any changes - for example the weight of your cargo or the pickup date - could change the quote rate. After your shipment has been picked up by the freight forwarder, standard procedure involves them re-weighing your packages to ensure accurate weight and dimensions before transit.
There may also be additional charges that the freight forwarder can’t control, such as customs duties.
For more information, please check out the Freightos.com Standard Operating Procedure.
